Values
Translation is a partnership between client and translator, and I believe in the value of long-term relationships over short-term profits. When you choose to work with me on your translation or editing project, you can expect reliability, respect and transparency.
You can also rest assured that quality will always be my main concern. As well as using professional translation and editing software for an extra layer of consistency, I will ensure that the style meets the brief and that there are no misplaced commas or rogue typing errors.
Skills development
I am a big believer in lifelong learning and am constantly cultivating my skills and trying new things. From doing sports (running, yoga, krav maga) to crafts (pottery, bookbinding, knitting) and reading most everything I can get my hands on (especially cookbooks and Scientific American), I simply love to learn.
There is nothing more satisfying than acquiring new skills, and this also applies to each project I tackle. There is always a certain amount of research that goes into every translation in the quest for an exact term, the most accurate scientific notation, and of course the right tone.
